Firm Earns Multiple Awards in Various Project Categories
Arlington, VA (January 28, 2019) – GHT Limited (GHT), a leading DC metro area mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering consulting firm, received multiple awards in various categories at the 2019 Washington Business Congress (WBC) Craftsmanship Awards.
These awards, selected on January 17, 2019, bring public recognition to exceptional workmanship and individual effort of those chosen.
This year, GHT Limited received recognition for two projects in three categories, as well as a nomination for the special star award. The following GHT projects were selected as winners:
- Finishes – Drywall: Nestle Headquarters, Arlington, VA (Star Award Nominee)
- Electrical – Lighting Systems: Confidential Client – Phase 3, Washington, DC
- Wood & Plastics – Architectural Millwork: Nestle Headquarters, Arlington, VA
GHT completed the MEP Design work on each project. Nestle Headquarters, located in downtown Rosslyn, features a communicating stair throughout multiple floors, employee dining and full commercial kitchen. GHT designed supplemental HVAC systems for multiple spaces within the project.
The awards banquet will be celebrated in March, following the Star Awards judging on February 8, 2019. According to WBC, 12,300 craftsmen have been recognized in the last 62 years; GHT is honored to be recognized for another consecutive year.
