GHT Limited, a leading DC Metro area MEP engineering consulting firm located in the heart of Arlington, VA seeks an IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support Technician with 2+ years of technical and helpdesk support in a Windows7/Windows 10 environment. You will be supporting our mid-sized company.
In addition to demonstrably strong customer service, organizational and time-management skills, you must possess good verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be motivated to excel, able to work both independently and in a team setting.
You will be responsible for user-level network services such as upkeep of the security policy, new user account and workstation setup and deployment. You will provide ongoing support to end-users by setting up, installing and maintaining an organized hardware inventory, life-cycle upgrades and hardware upgrades, as well as, repairs as needed. Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing and documentation systems are a must. Certifications such as A+ and Windows 10 MCSA are preferred.
