Principal James Yang delivers highly creative, technically exceptional designs for plumbing systems.

With more than 25 years of experience, James has an extensive project portfolio of commercial offices, government facilities, and mixed-use spaces. As an ASSE 6060 Medical Gas Systems Designer, James shapes our life science and healthcare projects with his expertise in medical gas systems design.

James’ passion for excellence in design extends beyond his plumbing solutions to the mentorship of emerging designers on his team, who he fiercely advocates for as they obtain new plumbing certifications and advance within GHT. As ASPE DC’s 2024 Plumbing Engineer of the Year award recipient, James is known throughout the industry for the innovative solutions he’s championed on notable projects including Amazon HQ2.
