GHT provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design services for the Ingleside at Rock Creek campus in Washington, DC.
The campus expansion includes a 240,000 SF independent living and assisted living tower, a 98,000 SF health center, and a connector building with conference and administrative space.
The new residential tower dedicates floors to each service level: independent living and assisted living. The health center features exam rooms, physical therapy space, and guest rooms for long-term care patients. The center offers 34 units for memory care and 56 units for skilled nursing.
Both the residential and medical buildings utilize a VRF system, which increases energy efficiency for the campus.
