GHT President Patrick Kunze received the George Mason University School of Business Prominent Patriot Award at the Alumni Business Celebration on Thursday, October 28th.
According to the George Mason University School of Business, the Prominent Patriot Award recipients represent “School of Business alumni as the very best in demonstrating citizenship, scholarship, and leadership in their daily lives.”

Following Patrick’s graduation from the School of Business in 2009, his Master of Business Administration (MBA) continued to serve him in his career as a professional engineer. In the 17 years that Patrick has worked at GHT, he has been a champion of the firm’s reputation for innovation, client satisfaction, and exponential growth. In 2020, Patrick was promoted to President, where he leads GHT’s business operations, sustainable design efforts, employee retention, corporate culture, and strategic development.
The George Mason University School of Business praises the alumni honored as Prominent Patriots as “engaged citizens and well-rounded scholars who are prepared to act.” In addition to his contributions at GHT, Patrick remains active in the community as a Leadership Arlington program graduate and a voting member of the Green Technical Advisory Group (TAG).
