JPMorgan Chase’s new 231,000 SF regional headquarters welcomes clients, employees, and guests with collaborative workspaces, conference rooms, and a rooftop terrace with an unmatched view of the Washington Monument.
To elevate the historic Bowen Building, GHT provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design, energy modeling, and LEED design and documentation services for the base building upgrades and interior fit-out.
The historic renovation required extensive coordination of the MEP infrastructure while aligning with JPMorgan Chase’s sustainability goals. The LEED Silver building employs an advanced HVAC filtration system for enhanced indoor air quality. The space also boasts significant savings, including a 33% reduction in water use and a 47% reduction in energy use through the incorporation of sustainable plumbing and lighting fixtures.
