Principal Laura Morder partners with building owners and operators to optimize their building’s performance, energy efficiency, and environmental impact.
Her mechanical engineering design expertise coupled with her meticulous work ethic, has resulted in an outstanding portfolio of government facilities, commercial office buildings, and interior fit-outs.
As GHT’s Energy Practice Leader, Laura develops custom solutions that meet the needs of her clients for their building studies, equipment replacements, building energy performance standards (BEPS) compliance, central plant designs, and more. Not only are Laura’s passion and drive exemplified in her work but are also a part of her community involvement. As a co-founder of the Women in ASHRAE committee of the National Capital Chapter of ASHRAE, Laura is an advocate for the future of female engineers in the industry.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys traveling abroad, hiking in national parks, cooking with friends, and spending time with her family.
