Skanska

GHT provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design services for the tenant fit out of the second floor for Skanska’s DC Headquarters. As the base building MEP engineer of record for the 2112 Pennsylvania Avenue building, GHT’s team of engineers and designers utilized their unique knowledge of the building to create this space.

Not only does the second floor feature a conference center and office space, but it includes flexible workstations to support a hybrid work environment. Another unique feature of the space is the living green wall that serves as a focal point for the office. As an innovative office space that serves as a hub for sustainability and collaboration, this project has been recognized with the NAIOP DC|MD Award of Merit for “Best Interiors up to 10,000 SF” and was featured as a Consulting-Specifying Engineer Project Profile.
