GHT performed third party commissioning services on the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing support systems of the specialized tenant space on the mezzanine, first, and second level of the event space. This was a three phase commissioning process including an Owners Program Requirements (OPR) review, Construction Phase review, and finally, close-out process and documentation.
District Winery produces, stores, chills, and serves small batch boutique wines on-site. The free-standing building is a 20,000 SF two story structure on the banks of the Anacostia River. This one of the first DC Green Building Code commissioning projects in the District of Columbia. A multipurpose location, District Winery has a restaurant, tasting room, production room, and event space and was completed at the end of 2017.
