GHT provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design services for Skanska’s DC headquarters.

As the base building MEP engineer for 2112 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, the GHT team leveraged their unique knowledge of the building to create a custom space for the multinational construction company.

The headquarters creates a flexible work environment for employees by incorporating open office space, meeting rooms, phone pods, and a conference center. To enhance occupant wellness throughout the space, the office monitors air quality with sensors and incorporates biophilic design with the green wall. Recognized as a hub for sustainability and collaboration, the project received the 2022 NAIOP Award of Merit for “Best Interiors up to 10,000 SF.”
