Kunze and Wozney Named Senior Principals
March 19, 2013 – GHT is pleased to announce that it has expanded its senior leadership, promoting Patrick Kunze, PE, LEED AP and John Wozney, PE, LEED AP to Senior Principal.
President Paul O’Brien, PE, LEED AP ID+C remarks, “During their tenure with GHT, Patrick and John have continually provided valuable strategies to guide the firm’s progress; delivered creative solutions to our clients; and offered technical guidance to their colleagues, both within and outside of the firm. GHT will benefit from their vision and experience as our firm continues to grow and evolve.” He continues, “Patrick and John play a key role in ensuring that GHT delivers creative, high quality engineering designs that result in high performance systems for our clients.”
About Kunze and Wozney
Kunze focuses on sustainable mechanical engineering design for tenant interiors. He worked directly with the US Green Building Council on their Platinum headquarters and contributed to the development of questions for the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) LEED AP exam. Kunze also sits on the Green Technical Advisory Group (TAG) subcommittee of Washington DC’s Construction Codes Coordinating Board (CCCB). He is an International Code Council (ICC) Certified Plans Examiner / Code Inspector and registered Peer Reviewer in Fairfax County, Virginia. A Professional Engineer registered in two states and the District of Columbia, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional, Kunze earned a Master of Business Administration from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University.
Wozney leads GHT’s peer review efforts and provides the firm’s Building Systems and Interiors studios with more than 25 years of electrical engineering design and project management expertise. His portfolio spans a variety of market sectors, including commercial offices, mission critical facilities, schools, residences, TV-radio studio environments, and performing arts theaters. Wozney is an International Code Council (ICC) Certified Electrical Plans Examiner / Code Inspector and registered Peer Reviewer in Fairfax County, Virginia. A Professional Engineer registered in three states and a LEED Accredited Professional, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
