As a Senior Principal and the Studio Leader of GHT Limited’s Sustainable Programs Studio, James Hansen is instrumental in the firm’s comprehensive approach to sustainability. Equipped with more than 25 years of experience, James delivers engineering design, energy modeling, and project management support for a wide range of projects in the Building Systems, Interiors, and OES Studios.
James’ portfolio includes extensive experience with the renovation and repositioning of commercial office buildings, such as 1200 17th Street and 2100 L Street. In his long-standing career at GHT, James has developed best practices for sustainability and provided a wealth of sustainable design resources. James’ mastery of energy modeling, energy codes, and green codes in DC has positioned him as a valuable resource to clients and teaming partners.
