GHT Limited Sends Representative to First of Its Kind Program
Arlington, VA (March 3, 2020) – GHT Limited (GHT), a leading DC metro area mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering consulting firm is proud to announce that Marketing and Communications Manager, Susan Dawson, LEED AP BD+C was selected to serve on the Zweig Group’s first ever, ElevateHer™ Cohort.
Per a recent press release published by Zweig Group, the ElevateHer™ cohort is a special task force comprised of individuals with a commitment to promote diversity as a means to combat recruiting and retention challenges in the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. Susan is one of 35 diverse industry leaders selected nationwide to serve in this group defining key strategies and providing open-sourced, accessible action plans to tackle diversity and its role in recruiting and retention issues.
“I firmly believe in ElevateHer™’s mission to embrace, promote and ensure equal opportunities for everyone in the AEC industry. I am personally looking to improve our industry through sharing data I have gathered from my organization and peer organizations about women’s issues, women’s groups, their success, having senior leadership buy-in and devoting financial resources to these initiatives.” Says Dawson.
