JLL DC Headquarters

Representative Image

GHT Limited provided MEP design services including LEED design and documentation for JLL’s new DC Headquarters offices on K Street. The 70,000 SF project included an evaluation of the base building MEP systems and an assessment of the base systems’ ability to support controllability, sustainability and outside air requirements as well as LEED and WELL initiatives. The project achieved LEED Certification Commercial Interiors and, though not certified, incorporated aspects of WELL into the design.

To encourage happy, healthy, and productive occupants, the project included wellness strategies such as access to natural light, adjustability, and biophilic design; all aspects inspired by the WELL Building Standard. The space included a mix of open plan workstations and enclosed private offices as well as a conference center with a dividable multipurpose room to accommodate up to 75 people. Team rooms for 4 – 6 people, reception, standard pantries, café, kitchen, innovation area, mothers’ room, document center, and storage rooms were also included in the design.
