The expansion of the Ingleside at Rock Creek campus included the new construction of a 240,000 SF, seven story Independent Living (IL) and Assisted Living (AL) tower; 98,000 SF, four story health center; and a connector building with conference, meeting, and administrative space.
The HVAC infrastructure features a Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system in the residential and medical buildings, which will increase energy efficiency. The IL/AL tower features dedicated floors for each service level, offering a total of 104 IL Units and 12 AL Units. The building also includes a marketplace café and other support, amenity, and administrative spaces, as well as 80,000 SF of parking on three levels.
The health center features exam rooms, physical therapy space, and guest rooms for long-term care patients. One story is dedicated to Memory Support and two stories provide Skilled Nursing residences.
The Ingleside at Rock Creek Expansion also included the renovation of the existing 10,000 SF McCracken building, which includes ancillary office space.
