Crystal Tech Fund

The Crystal Tech Fund headquarters in Arlington’s Crystal City neighborhood was designed to be a flexible, open plan office space for its staff, as well as a working and collaboration center for partner companies. The design included community and private meeting spaces and a large multi-purpose room with a garage door partition to connect it to the main office area and accommodate large events. An exciting aesthetic was created with a mix of concrete, glass, high-tech lighting, white board walls, and custom artwork.

GHT provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design for the fit-out. The design provided conditioning for the space via shut-off Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes connected to the building’s supply air risers, fed by chillers located in the penthouse. A supplemental outside air system was added to provide additional cooling and ventilation air to the multi-purpose room.
