GHT Limited donated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design services to Aspire! Afterschool Learning Center in Arlington County, VA. In the MEP design, GHT used the existing MEP base building systems to support the fit out of the new space on the third floor of the building. The finished space included classrooms, library, snack area, dance studio, and administrative support spaces. GHT completed the project pro bono to support the Arlington community and help Aspire! meet the increasing demand to serve at-risk students in Arlington County.
In order to incrementally expand their services, Aspire! signed an agreement with Arlington County in 2016 to build out the unfinished third floor of the Arlington Mill Community Center. This space serves as Aspire!’s premiere program site and headquarters.
