GHT provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design services for this confidential financial institution headquarters in Northern Virginia.

This 34,000 SF interior renovation encompassed the redesign of the lobby, town square, and conference center. Revitalizing the main building entrance, the headquarters lobby welcomes clients, visitors, and staff with a multi-story atrium. As the focal point and gathering space for the headquarters, the town square features open seating for presentations and meetings, as well as a coffee and snack bar.

Designed to be a comfortable environment, the headquarters features formal and informal meeting spaces to foster collaboration. The conference room is divided into large multi-purpose rooms with adjustable partitions, which accommodate large meetings and events. GHT collaborated with IA to coordinate MEP systems with intricate ceiling features, such as open wood slats and floating cloud features throughout the flexible conference spaces.
