According to the George Mason University School of Business, the Prominent Patriot Award recipients represent “School of Business alumni as the very best in demonstrating citizenship, scholarship, and leadership in their daily lives.” Following Kunze’s graduation from the School of Business in 2009, his Master of Business Administration (MBA) continued to serve him in his career as a professional engineer. In the 17 years that Kunze has worked at GHT, he has been a champion of the firm’s reputation for innovation, client satisfaction and exponential growth. In 2020, Kunze was promoted to the role of president, where he leads GHT’s business operations, sustainable design efforts, employee retention, corporate culture, and strategic development.
