June 1, 2014 – GHT is pleased to announce that three members of its staff have expanded their professional credentials.
Senior Principal Robert Menuet, PE, CEM earned an Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) endorsement from the Uptime Institute, an unbiased, third-party data center research, education, and consulting organization focused on improving data center performance and efficiency through collaboration and innovation. Per The Uptime Institute’s website, the ATD program provides instruction to design professionals, in the context of real-life designs, on practical application of the Tiers, a standard classification system to effectively evaluate data center infrastructure in terms of a business’ requirements for system availability.
Matthew Fitzgerald, PE earned his Professional Engineer (PE) license and is registered in the State of Maryland. He passed the Mechanical examination developed by The National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). NCEES is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing professional licensure for engineers and surveyors.
Associate Joel Bell, PE, LEED AP, CCP earned a Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) credential from the Building Commissioning Association (BCxA), an international non-profit organization that serves as the recognized authority and resource on commissioning. Per BCxA’s website, the CCP designation was created to raise professional standards and provide a vehicle for certification in the building commissioning industry.
