September 22, 2014 – To celebrate the 15th year of ENERGY STAR for Buildings, EPA has recognized GHT as an Executive Member of the 2014 ENERGY STAR Certification Nation for helping to certify more than 50 buildings in 2014. By helping our clients earn EPA’s ENERGY STAR certification, we’re acting on our commitment to save energy, protect the environment, increase sustainability, and help us prepare for the future.
ENERGY STAR certified buildings use 35 percent less energy and cause 35 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions than similar buildings. Today, more than 24,000 buildings have earned the ENERGY STAR, representing a quickly growing national movement to protect the environment through improved energy efficiency.
