In the wake of an increasingly complex global situation, GHT Limited would like to share our response and business continuity strategies with our project partners to address operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Protecting the GHT Family
Our first priority is the health and well-being of our GHT family, their families, and our community. We are closely monitoring the development and spread of COVID-19, both abroad and in our home region of Washington, DC. Following regional announcements in March 2020, our company extended remote work options to all GHT employees, regardless of classification, employment status or job function.
Ensuring Continuity
In the months leading up to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Information Technology and CADD Set-Up teams have been working overtime to bring remote connectivity and communication tools to all employees. This includes:
- Access to instant messaging, file sharing and collaboration through Office 365 and Microsoft Teams
- Access to professional video conferencing through the Go-To Meeting and Microsoft Teams platform, with webcam integration for all employees who request them
- All design applications are licensed properly for remote working access and all employees have been provided instructions, plus a dedicated support team, as they set up access to troubleshoot connectivity
- Collaboration and information exchange tools such as Newforma Project Center and Bluebeam were previously provided company-wide and have been utilized prior to the COVID-19 pandemic
Commitment to Open Communication and Meeting Deadlines
During these uncertain times, GHT Limited is maintaining stability by keeping our commitment to our clients and project deadlines. Our teams have been equipped with all the technology and tools necessary to deliver on our design responsibilities. We will maintain open lines of communication at every level on our projects and continue to touch base with our project partners as this situation evolves.
