Firm Earns Multiple Awards in Various Project Categories
Arlington, VA (January 16, 2020) – GHT Limited (GHT), a leading DC metro area mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering consulting firm, had projects that received multiple awards in various categories at the 2020 Washington Business Congress (WBC) Craftsmanship Awards.
These awards, selected on January 9, 2020, bring public recognition to exceptional workmanship and individual effort of those chosen.
This year, three GHT Limited projects received recognition in three categories. The following GHT projects were selected as winners:
- Concrete | Cast-in-Place: Ballston Quarter Retail Renovation, Arlington, VA
- Doors & Windows | Exterior Glass: 655 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, DC
- Woods & Plastics | Architectural Millwork: Akin Gump, Washington, DC
GHT completed the MEP Design work on both 655 New York Avenue and Akin Gump. The firm’s Operations and Energy Services team competed third-party MEP design review to complete revisions to the Ballston Quarter Retail Renovation project.
The awards banquet will be celebrated in March, following the Star Awards judging on February 14, 2020. According to WBC , in the last 63 years, over 12,700 craftsmen have been recognized for their workmanship on more than 3,300 winning projects. GHT is honored to have projects recognized for another consecutive year.
