GHT Limited Honored as Washington Business Journal Best Places to Work

Firm Scores Big on Work-Life Balance and Family Culture

Arlington, VA (June 27, 2017) – GHT Limited (GHT), a leading DC metro area mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering consulting firm, was recognized last week by the Washington Business Journal as a 2017 Best Places to Work in the Large Companies (50-249 employees) category.

This honor, bestowed annually by the Washington Business Journal, was awarded to only 85 companies in the Washington DC Metropolitan region.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition and grateful to our employees, who dedicate their passion and energy each day to our mission to transform the built environment,” said President Paul O’Brien, following the June 22nd celebration hosted at Arena Stage. “Earning this designation from WBJ is no small feat…we’re proud to have a company culture where employees feel valued for their contributions.”

Employees surveyed identified “work-life balance”, a “challenging work environment with room to grow” and “co-workers that feel like family” as some of the top perks.

Rankings are based on anonymous feedback provided in employee engagement surveys, conducted by Omaha, Nebraska-based Quantum Workplaces, Inc., an independent workplace consulting firm. The survey results cover a variety of topics, from confidence in senior leadership to employee retention and team effectiveness.
