Jim works as the Mechanical Section Head in GHT’s Building Systems Studio, providing design guidance and overseeing staffing for the group. With more than 15 years of unique experience in mechanical systems design, MEP construction services, commissioning, and project management, Jim provides an invaluable skill set for every client. Jim’s clients would describe him as easy to work with, attentive, knowledgeable, and a team player. He is a pragmatic engineer who always focuses on your bottom line with each project.
As an accomplished engineer, Jim’s responsibilities include engineering design and project management for a variety of projects, including commercial base building, multi-family, hospitality, mixed-use, and building renovations/repositioning. Jim is GHT’s Mechanical Section Lead, focusing on Hospitality and Multi-Family projects.
Just three years after starting at GHT, Jim was promoted to Principal, and only a couple of months later, he took over as Building Systems Studio Mechanical Section Head. Jim earned his WELL Accreditation through the International WELL Building Institute and enjoys being able to incorporate human health and wellness into everyday projects.
