As the Director of Business Development, Derek Gallardo is the driving force behind GHT’s mission to foster lasting client partnerships. In his role, Derek collaborates closely with GHT’s leadership team to identify new opportunities, facilitate teaming arrangements, and develop procurement strategies. As a forward-thinking expert, Derek collaborates with GHT’s leaders to identify new opportunities and partnerships across all markets, from healthcare and life sciences to education and institutional.
With more than 30 years of experience, Derek’s background in electrical engineering and project management, coupled with his dedication to nurturing business development and promoting strategic expansion, has resulted in GHT’s exceptional growth in new markets. With past leadership roles with the DC Electrical Code Subcommittee, DC Building Industry Association (DCBIA), and the JDRF Mid-Atlantic Chapter, Derek is a true influencer in the community. Outside of work, Derek dedicates his time to supporting the Capon Springs Volunteer Fire & Rescue as an EMT.
