GHT Limited, a leading DC metro area MEP engineering consulting firm located in Arlington, VA, seeks a bright and motivated Electrical Design Engineer with a minimum of 4 to 10 years of experience in electrical design.
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency and experience in electrical design for commercial interior projects including lighting and power circuitry and controls and fire alarm design; possess a working knowledge of building, energy, and green codes; and reflect a commitment to client satisfaction and responsiveness. Applicant must be motivated to excel, able to work both independently and in a team setting, capable of organizing workflow and delegating tasks to others, willing to learn and possess good visual, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency with AutoCAD (recent releases) is also a must. Familiarity with Revit modeling is desirable. Familiarity with LEED Commercial Interiors v4 is a plus. P.E. license is not required but preferred.
