Anya Walker Recognized by SMPS DC with Annual Rising Star Award
GHT Staff Member Wins Local Marketing Award
Arlington, VA (October 26, 2022) – GHT Limited (GHT), a leading DC metro area mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering firm, announces that Anya Walker, Marketing Coordinator, received the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) DC Chapter’s Rising Star Award at their 40th Anniversary event on October 19, 2022.
As described by SMPS DC, the Rising Star Award honors a current member who has demonstrated a commitment to the field of marketing professional services and who has demonstrated an aptitude for leadership through involvement in and contributions to the DC Chapter. Eligible candidates included members who worked in the A/E/C marketing profession for less than five years.
For two years, Anya has worked diligently to develop content and programming for the SMPS DC chapter, from crafting social media posts and blogs to serving in the Chapter’s 2022 Guru Guidance program, where she connected with peers and mentors to foster the exchange of ideas, trends and marketing experiences. She is now serving on the Special Events Committee and contributing to the creation of chapter events such as the 40th Anniversary event held last Wednesday at La Vie at the District Wharf.
